Patient Relations RMRP

 

Created for healthcare leaders in a patient relations role, HIROC invites you to apply to the Patient Relations Risk Management Residency Program (Patient Relations RMRP).

Join us for the Patient Relations RMRP. The Program applies a blended learning approach through live virtual education and opportunities for interaction with peers across Canada. This program is intended for all healthcare professionals who have responsibility or accountability for patient relations, or those who wish to learn more. 
 

HIROC is now accepting applications for the 2026 program. 

 

Program Timeline and Commitment

  • April 23-June 25, 2026
  • Six 90-minute sessions (every alternate Thursday, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM ET)
     

Program Highlights

  • Variety of educational formats such as panel discussions, case studies and simulation exercises
  • Interaction with patient relations leaders from across Canada

  2. Supporting Fair and Inclusive Investigations
  3. Facilitating Effective Client/Family Meetings
  4. Effective Written Responses for Client/Family Concerns
  5. Cultural Sensitivity and Humility in the Patient Relations Process
  6. Wellness and Self Care of Patient Relations Professionals
