In 2021 HIROC launched a pan-Canadian Risk Management Residency Program to provide an opportunity to learn from shared experiences and create a network of healthcare peers from across Canada. 

The Midwifery RMRP employs a blended learning model, combining live online education with opportunities for meaningful peer interaction. Participants engage in a rigorous curriculum designed to strengthen knowledge, enhance practice, and advance a culture of safety within the midwifery profession.

Program Timeline and Commitment
 

  • January 15 – April 16, 2026
  • Eight 90-minute sessions (alternate Thursdays, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, ET)

  • Collaborative learning with midwives from across Canada
