Summary

HIROC is modernizing its enterprise applications, embracing cloud-based systems to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative experiences to its users. To help ensure the success of this modernization, it is seeking an Enterprise Application Specialist which will focus on the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of HIROC’s new enterprise applications, with an emphasis on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of products.

The Enterprise Application Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise applications at HIROC. They identify business needs and work relentlessly to meet or exceed those needs, by providing end-user support, leading change initiatives, delivering training, driving test plans, and working closely with external vendors. The Enterprise Application Specialist maintains broad and deep relationships with business and technical stakeholders to ensure HIROC is equipped with reliable software solutions.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide projects and change initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Translate and elicit conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and iterate design prototypes based on user requirements and feedback.
  • Create process models, specifications, and diagrams to provide direction to stakeholders.
  • Oversee migration of data from legacy systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Lead and support the management and maintenance of integrations between enterprise applications (e.g., API integrations between Dynamics 365 and legacy systems).
  • Lead the planning and execution of functional, integration, and acceptance testing of software solutions to ensure functionality and performance are suitable for business needs.
  • Provide business training for HIROC’s enterprise applications, including workshops, group and individual training and the development of user guides.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to business as required in resolving incidents, service and change requests pertaining to the supported applications.
  • Manage internal and external ticketing and incident systems to ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure enterprise applications adhere to security standards and comply with regulatory requirements, including data protection protocols.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance business processes through system enhancements, optimizations, and automation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, including Business Central, Customer Service, and Marketing. Certifications in managing these systems is an asset.
  • Familiarity with finance and customer service workflows.
  • Strong computer, software, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • Extensive experience with designing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new IT applications and systems. 

Education, Training & Experience

  • University degree in the fields of Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience.
  • Most importantly, you are an enthusiastic and creative thinker, who is constantly driving performance improvement and are passionate about creating a safer healthcare system.
