HIROC Named One of Greater Toronto’s Top 2025 Employers

Back in 2017, on the eve of HIROC’s 30th anniversary, we received the news that we were named one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers. Our staff and leadership were ecstatic – the secret that made HIROC such an amazing place to work was finally out. 

It feels like a lot has happened since that day, with so much growth. But one thing that has not changed is how proud HIROC is to hold this award, for the ninth straight year.

With the release of the Globe & Mail and Mediacorp’s Greater Toronto's Top Employers list for 2025, HIROC once again sits alongside so many amazing organizations – and quite a few of our Subscribers in the region. 

So, what makes HIROC such a unique place to work? We are a mid-sized organization that feels like a tight-knit community. HIROC’s leadership team values employee-led innovation, team building, wellness, and a hybrid work culture.

We are dedicated to our Subscribers across Canada – delivering a high level of service while also ensuring their insurance needs are met. But we could not do that without each and every one of our team members; this level of service and care absolutely starts with our staff. 

That’s why team HIROC comes together to celebrate successes, and to support our team members when they are in need. 

“Of course, it’s the day-to-day, the work we all do for Subscribers and for staff to ensure everyone can come to work as their best self,” says our CEO, Catherine Gaulton. “But for me, it’s also the way we show up for each other – the little things that employees do to show each other they care. This for me is what makes HIROC so unique.”
