HIROC Kicks Off New Patient Relations RMRP
The Risk Management Residency Program (RMRP) is proving we are stronger and more resilient when we learn together.
In 2021 HIROC launched a pan-Canadian Risk Management Residency Program (RMRP). The goal was to provide an opportunity for our HIROC Subscribers to learn from shared experiences and create a network of peers from across Canada.
And that’s the HIROC advantage, the benefit of being a part of the Reciprocal model. Even more, RMRP is offered at no cost and is exclusively for HIROC Subscribers.
For HIROC, programs like RMRP speak to our value add and are part of what makes us more than just an insurance company. We are working to connect the dots and expand the scope of practice of everyone in the system – from providers to senior leaders.
“In sharing our experiences, we are stronger together. Through these programs and many of HIROC’s educational opportunities, we are able to learn, share, stay connected; and that helps us when we’re on the front lines.”
– Trevor Hall, HIROC’s Vice President of Healthcare Safety and Risk Management
Since 2021, the RMRP has grown considerably. In the past year alone, three new cohorts have kicked off – focused on midwifery, obstetrical and perinatal leadership, and now, patient relations.
