Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Financial Analysis

  • Month-end and quarter-end general journal entries 
  • Variance analysis 
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations
  • Accounting for investment transactions
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements and commentaries
  • Assist with annual audit
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis

Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

  • End-to-end Accounts Payable processing and reconciliations for multiple entities
  • Employee expense report processing
  • Communicate with vendors and departments to troubleshoot, manage and resolve issues
  • Accounts Receivable - invoicing and collections
  • Cash receipts processing
  • Processing of interface files between systems

Cash Management & Banking Reconciliations

  • Prepare/review monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist in cash flow monitoring and projections
  • Entry of bank transactions 

Other Finance Duties 

  • Provide back-up where necessary in the Finance department
  • Preparation of indirect sales tax returns and tax payments
  • Updating Finance policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
     

Education, Training & Experience 

  • University degree 
  • Accounting systems (Dynamics GP or Business Central preferred), Strong Excel skills 
  • 5 years of relevant work experience 
  • Working towards completing the CPA

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm 
Hybrid work model
