Mohawk Medbuy Corporation
Burlington, ON

Tony DiEmanuele is the President and CEO of Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) – a not-for-profit, shared services organization dedicated to building a resilient healthcare supply chain.

In 2017, Tony led the successful integration of the two organizations that created MMC and, since then, has continued to drive the organization’s growth and evolution to bring greater value, innovation and insight to hundreds of Canadian hospitals and healthcare providers. Under his leadership, MMC created industry-leading programs (such as the MitigAID supply disruption management program) and took on a central role supporting the Province of Ontario during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Between 2021 and 2024, Tony oversaw MMC’s acquisition of St. Joseph’s Health System’s GPO and Northern Supply Chain, as well as its amalgamation with Plexxus and acquisitions of 3SO, Shared Services West and the sourcing and AP divisions of TransForm. The integrated organization, which continues under the Mohawk Medbuy banner, offers a full spectrum of supply chain services including procurement of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, capital (redevelopment, FF&E and capital equipment) and nutrition, along with warehousing and logistics, data analytics, accounts payable and IT services. Through Tony’s experience, proven leadership and strategic acumen, MMC is well positioned for continued national growth beyond its current volume of over $3 billion in annual spend on MMC contracts.

Before entering the healthcare field in 2009, Tony held various leadership positions in the private sector in distribution, logistics, procurement, member relations and marketing.
