Dr. Lynn Mikula is the President & CEO of Peterborough Regional Health Centre, a 460-bed regional hospital that serves a mixed rural-urban geography. Dr. Mikula started her clinical practice at PRHC as a staff general surgeon, and subsequently took on various leadership roles including Chief of Surgery, Chief of Staff, Chief Medical Executive, Chief Medical Information Officer, and Executive Vice-President with oversight for Risk, Medical Affairs, and the hospital’s COVID-19 response. In her tenure as CEO she has led the development of the hospital’s 5-year Strategic Plan and resulting strategies for health equity, digital advancement, and workplace wellbeing. She is the co-chair of the OHA’s Large Community Hospital Network and a member of the Cancer Quality Council of Ontario.
Dr. Mikula is passionate about leadership, innovation, and engagement within the complex environment of healthcare. She has been involved in advisory and governance roles in multiple provincial and national healthcare organizations. Through the Faculty of Management at McGill University she advises graduate students who are pursuing careers in healthcare administration and leadership.
After obtaining her MD CM from McGill University, Dr. Mikula completed surgical residency training at the University of Toronto, as well as an MSc from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Management from McGill. She lives in Peterborough, Ontario where she and her family have easy access to backcountry camping and a wide range of outdoor sports.

Scott Bishop
Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer

Scott Bishop is a finance professional with over 20 years of progressive experience. He has worked in both the public and private sectors during his professional career. Currently, as Vice President of Corporate Services within Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services, Scott holds accountabilities for all aspects of financial services, budgeting, and financial reporting, as well as other corporate services including supply chain and procurement, legal services, protection services as well as capital planning and engineering. Scott also serves as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to his role with Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services, Scott joined Eastern Health in 2010 and held progressive finance leadership roles since that time, most recently as Vice President of Corporate Services and CFO. Prior to his work with Eastern Health, Scott held progressive finance roles in the software development industry in the province of Ontario.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-operative) Degree from Memorial University and is also a member of the Association of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA). He is currently a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) and holds the designation of Certified Health Executive (CHE).
