Summary
Reporting to the Vice President, Healthcare Safety and Risk Management the primary responsibility of the Corporate Coordinator is to support the Senior Team and departments with coordination activities
Key Responsibilities
Coordination of Corporate Activities
- Support the coordination of Corporate activities such as maintaining corporate information systems and databases (e.g., contact management system, etc.), scheduling of events (e.g., conferences, workshops, exercises), and other duties as assigned
- Provide support to Corporate committees including the Board of Directors and Committees as required
Resource Development and Support
- Compile resources, data, etc. to support the development/maintenance resources/reference documents
- Support the development of Subscriber resources (e.g., Subscriber material including renewal, safety and informational packages)
- Convert data and text into predefined templates (e.g., Word templates).
Quality Assurance, Analysis and Preparation of Reports - Prepare research material and supporting documentation (i.e., Subscriber grants, applications, literature searches)
- Compile liability and property claims analysis reports and incorporate results into appropriate formats (e.g., graphs, charts and presentations)
- Conduct quality assurance to ensure data accuracy
- Analyze data using various software tools
Other
- Contribute to the departmental planning.
- Administrative support for key safety and risk management initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing educational opportunities.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, initiatives and committees.
- Act as a resource to Subscribers regarding access to HIROC’s report portal.
- Backup for reception as required
- Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education, Training & Experience
- University Degree/College Diploma
- Experience in using/advanced skills with MS Office suite of products
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in healthcare, insurance or a legal environment
