CALL FOR ABSTRACTS 

2018 Abstract Submission Form

Subscribers are invited to submit an abstract for a poster in one of the following two tracks:
  • Managing Organizational Risks – such as leading practices in integrated risk management, integration of HIROC Risk Assessment Checklists (RAC), using HIROC's Risk Register program, developing risk management and healthcare leadership capacity, risk management and governance
  • Partnering with Patients and Families for the Safest Healthcare System – leading practices for engaging patients and families to reduce harm and/or make healthcare safer
Please submit your abstract using the 2018 Abstract Submission Form by March 2, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
 
Notification of selected abstracts will take place by: March 9, 2018

Day 2 Workshop: IRM Risk Register Clinic

Tuesday, May 1, 2018 (8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST)
Toronto Congress Centre
 
During the clinic, attendees will:
  • Develop strategies to build momentum and engage leadership/boards in IRM and the Risk Register Program.
  • Learn about and share innovation and sustainability strategies related to Integrated Risk Management.
  • Discuss the use of Progress Notes and Actions within the Risk Register application.
  • Experience how customized reports can be created with the Risk Register application.
  • Share strategies for fostering ownership of your organization’s IRM program.
  • Practice a ‘deep dive’ into an IRM-specific topic.
  • Develop a network of IRM colleagues.
