Ontario Healthcare Risk Management Network (OHRMN)

HIROC is one of several founding members of the Ontario Healthcare Risk Management Network (OHRMN). The purpose of the Network shall be to encourage closer cooperation among healthcare risk management personnel by:

• Providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information relative to healthcare risk management and patient safety
• Promoting professional development by encouraging and assisting members to increase their knowledge and skills by conducting educational programs and activities.
• Acting as a resource for healthcare organizations interested in initiating and/or improving risk management programs.
• Establishing and maintaining affiliation with the Ontario Hospital Association and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
