Seminar to introduce new SHN measurement processes
Monday November 5, 2007
A web seminar to help Safer Healthcare Now (SHN) intervention teams comply with changes to the measurement process is scheduled for Nov. 8.
Virginia Flintoft, the project manager of SHN's Central Measurement Team (CMT), will be leading the online presentation featuring an update of the CMT's work, a demonstration of changes to the measurement
worksheets and a revised submission process.
The CMT handles all of the data analysis needs for healthcare organizations participating in the SHN campaign.
Sponsored by the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI), the web seminar will also include comments from CPSI CEO Phil Hassen and Ross Baker, chair of the SHN measurement working group.
All teams currently participating in the SHN campaign are urged to participate in the seminar to ensure an understanding of data submission requirements, how to enter data on the new measurement worksheets and submit it to the CMT.
